2ī¸âƒŖArchitecture

Gamepass Network is a blockchain-based project that takes advantage of Bitcoin's UTXO model, the Ravencoin asset protocol and the KawPow mining algorithm. Gamepass Network's architecture consists of four main components:

  • Blockchain. The Gamepass Network blockchain is a fork of the Ravencoin blockchain, which is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain. The Gamepass Network blockchain uses the UTXO model to store and transfer value. UTXO stands for Unspent Transaction Output, which is a record of how much value an address owns. UTXOs can be spent or transferred by creating transactions that consume them as input and create new UTXOs as output. Transactions are checked by nodes and grouped into blocks that are linked together to form a chain;

  • Assets. Gamepass Network's assets are issued on its blockchain using Ravencoin asset issuance protocol technology. This asset release protocol allows anyone to create and manage their own tokens on the blockchain without requiring any smart contracts or programming skills. The protocol supports different types of assets, such as unique assets, sub-assets, restricted assets, etc. Assets can be transferred or exchanged on any compatible blockchain or exchange;

  • Mining. Gamepass Network mining is the process of securing a network by creating blocks containing transactions and other data. Gamepass Network mining uses the Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism, which requires miners to solve a cryptographic puzzle to create a valid block. Gamepass Network mining uses the KawPow algorithm, designed to protect against ASIC miners. KawPow is a variant of ProgPow based on Ethash. KawPow uses random code execution and frequent memory access, making ASIC development difficult and expensive;

  • Gamers rewards. Gamer incentives on the Gamepass Network come from the Proof-of-Game process, which requires players to do the most important thing in gaming: play fairly. This honesty is verified by a system we have developed, which can be called the GFRS (Gamers fair reward system) protocol, whereby a player will be rewarded for his game if his game meets certain criteria. The eligibility criteria may be different for each game, but the protocol will strive to reward all players fairly.
